Falcon Safety Group has qualified ISO 45001 consultants ready to help your organization achieve certification. If you are a business that wants to build on your current certification, or you are seeking to become newly certified, Falcon Safety Group can help you achieve certification for this new global health and safety management system standard, as well as the current environmental standard (ISO 14001).
According to the ISO.org website, “The new OH&S standard is based on the common elements found in all of ISO’s management systems standards and uses a simple Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model, which provides a framework for organizations to plan what they need to put in place in order to minimize the risk of harm. The measures should address concerns that can lead to long-term health issues and absence from work, as well as those that give rise to accidents.”
Identify your process.
We will meet to discuss your business's current Quality Management System (QMS). If needed, we will work to create a QMS for your organization. We will also estimate the time and budget needed to complete your certification application.
Auditing your needs.
Our assessment and transition services will help you to gain a better understanding of how well your current health and safety management system is aligned to the requirements of ISO 45001. Our audit will include a Gap Assessment to evaluate your current Quality Management System (QMS) and determine your current level of compliance. We will create an actionable plan for adoption of the standard, integrating current practices with new ones to continually improve your processes while managing your OH&S policies and objectives.
Closing the Gap.
We will align your Quality Management System (QMS) to meet your business needs as well as ISO 45001 certification requirements. We will help you apply for the ISO 45001 certification, ensuring you have the tools and knowledge necessary for certification and continuous improvement in your business practices, increasing safety and productivity while reducing workplace illness and injury.
We know that each business is unique. We tailor the above process to you and your goals. Please note: ISO 45001 will replace OHSAS 18001, the world's former reference for workplace health and safety. Organizations already certified to OHSAS 18001 will have three years to comply with the new ISO 45001 standard, although certification of conformity to ISO 45001 is not a requirement of the standard.
